Matt Putterman
Managing Partner
Matt Putterman is a seasoned attorney who represents businesses and individuals in litigation, mediation and arbitration. He tailors his approach to each client and each case, and works diligently towards fostering resolution early and often throughout the process.
His experience ranges from handling of small collections and breach of contract cases, to cases involving high exposure and catastrophic loss. Matt has litigated hundreds of cases to resolution; including through mediation, arbitration and trial. Today, Matt regularly handles cases involving business and real estate transactions, trade secrets, landlord-tenant matters, complex contract disputes, collections and disputes arising during the course of a construction project.
Prior to joining Putterman Law, Matt litigated cases of varying complexities at other law firms and served as general counsel to a transportation and logistics company. As general counsel, Matt oversaw matters in litigation, reviewed and negotiated contracts, managed risk and ensured compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
In addition to his litigation practice, Matt leverages his experience as general counsel to provide businesses in the construction and transportation industries with support on contract review and negotiations, risk mitigation, and handling of day-to-day legal challenges.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and their three kids.
